Shipping and delivery

True Rugs provides basic ground or freight curbside delivery free of charge* throughout most of Canada.

Delivery

Curbside delivery means that delivery trucks will arrive with one driver, therefore you may need to have someone available to assist in unloading your rug. The shipment will be brought into the first dry area and will not be delivered up a staircase, into an elevator, or into a specific room. The driver is not responsible for unpacking, unrolling or placing the rugs.

Shipping Damage

Your shipment(s) must be inspected for external damages to the packaging while the driver is still on site. If a packaging defect occurs, exposing your rug, it must be noted on the freight bill. The carrier will not honor a damage claim unless it has been clearly indicated. If a package is extremely damaged, it should be refused. Keep a copy of the bill. If you are unable to inspect the rug please sign your freight bill "received subject to inspection".

If the rug is delivered when you are not at home, leave the rug in the original packaging and please contact us at customerservice@truerugs.com or our toll free # 1-844-TRUE-LIFE (1-844-878-3543). We will arrange for pick-up, handle the damage claim and arrange for a replacement.


*Additional fees may apply for out of zone, remote areas, ferry usage, etc. If required, you will be contacted by customer service prior to charging your credit card.
